Xibeca

Description

Legend has it that an owl (known as "xibeca" in Catalan) bewitched a young woman, turning her into a witch with fantastic powers. The peculiar elongated shadow of the witch Xibeca became so famous that, years later, it is believed to have inspired the name for Damm's one-liter bottles. Another popular story suggests that the resemblance in size between these bottles and the owl might be the real reason behind the unique name of this beer.
